FIELD TRIP OPPORTUNITY FOR CARDINGTON-LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS

TRIO will be hosting their annual “All Junior Day” at the campuses of The Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College on May 17th. This event will be open to all CLHS juniors that are interested in college after high school, enrolling in an adult ed program at Tri-Rivers, or entering the workforce. Some of the leading manufacturing companies and the most in-demand career fields will also be on hand to discuss opportunities after graduation.

The event will provide interested juniors the following opportunities:
A senior year simulation that allows students to get a first-hand look at what decisions they may have to make based on variables such as a randomly selected GPA or financial situation.

There will be a workforce session where employers will present the great opportunities that their companies may have.

Students will get to sit in and participate in a student panel led by current students enrolled at MTC/OSUM and get the details of college life from the ones living it daily.

Lastly, our students will get to meet with faculty of all three institutions to see what campus options are available for prospective students.

Interested students should get a permission slip from Mr. Hobbs in the Guidance Office or email him at chad.hobbs@cardington.k12.oh.us.
