Student Success & Wellness Funds

Student Wellness and Success/Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid

Cardington-Lincoln Local Schools receives special state funding through Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid (DPIA) and Student Wellness and Success Funds (SWSF). These dollars are invested to support both academic success and the overall well-being of our students.

  • Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid (DPIA):
DPIA funds are used to strengthen literacy and reading interventions. By focusing these resources on reading, we are helping students build essential skills that support achievement across all subjects.

  • Student Wellness and Success Funds (SWSF):
SWSF dollars are used in three key areas:

    • Student Safety: Funding for our School Resource Officer (SRO) and Public School Works program.

    • Physical & Mental Health: Support for our school nurse, guidance counselor, and school psychologist to meet health and wellness needs.

    • Community Engagement: Tools such as the district website and One Call communication system that connect families and schools.

These investments allow Cardington-Lincoln Local Schools to provide not only high-quality instruction, but also the supports that ensure students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn.
