CLHS AGRICULTURE EDUCATION CLASSES SPONSOR FOOD FOR AMERICA DAY

Today, the CLHS Agriculture Education classes, taught by Erin Wollett, sponsored an agricultural learning day, titled "Food for America", for our third-graders. The high school students setup 18 different agricultural learning stations, teaching students about a different agricultural area at each station. The students learned information, received a demonstration, and had the opportunity to have a hands-on learning experience in the following agricultural areas: beekeeping, dairy cattle and production, dog training, aquaculture/fish farming, floriculture, equine agriculture, goat farming, miniature equine farming, swine/pig farming, sheep farming, agricultural machines (tractor), wildlife conservation, woodworking, food production, etc. The high school students also prepared a lunch for all to enjoy! It was a beautiful day weather wise, and a day filled with fun and learning!!!!!

The third-graders and their teachers had this to say about today's event, "Best day of the school year 💙💛 THANKS FFA!!!"

Great job, everyone!!!!!!!
